description of project

In November 2019, a new canopy roof of approximately 8,000sqm was installed to provide full cover for the tennis court and improve conditions for both players and spectators. The roof needed to be installed in time for the inaugural 2020 ATP Cup.

The construction of the roof required the installation of air circulation fans for natural ventilation air movement for tennis mode operations during summer months, as well as complying with the provisional capacity for cooling to the courts for netball mode, all within a 3-week program.

Additionally, the roof was fully prefabricated beforehand therefore all the trades were required to collaborate and coordinate common fixing points before construction.
