This included a building compliance upgrade to the smoke handling systems of the 13-storey building, demanding the installation of floor-by-floor differential pressure and smoke control.

- 1 new smoke exhaust fan
- all cold shell fitouts for retail area
- 1 lift-shaft pressurisation fan
- new external riser shafts rising 13 floors
- floor-by-floor differential pressure control
- 13 new smoke exhaust subducts and pressure- controlled motorised dampers on each floor
- air-conditioning and a bathroom exhaust system in the new end-of-trip facility
- ducted air-conditioning on the ground floor to serve the lobby and retail tenancies
- the alteration of toilet exhaust systems to accommodate the smoke- handling scheme
